On-Site Repair

A multiple-system discount of 25% is available on flat-rate virus removal, pc clean, pc check-up and security and performance tune-ups. This discount will be applied only on service for the second and succeeding systems from the same customer performed on the same visit . Not valid with any other discounts or offers.

Hourly Labor Rate - $60.00/hr

Hourly labor rate for any services not defined or covered below. This is the standard repair rate and ensures that the system will be placed into the repair queue based on the order in which it was received.

PC Pick-Up / Delivery - Varies

We'll come disconnect your computer, bring it to our repair shop so that you can take advantage of our in-shop rates, then return it when repairs are finished. The cost of the pick-up / delivery varies with the distance travelled. Short (~5 miles) pick-ups are always free.

Diagnostic Service - $45.00 flat rate (FREE if repair is authorized)

We will determine the cause of the system problem(s) and advise on a course of action. This is always a free service on in-shop repairs.

Virus & Spyware Removal - $180.00 flat rate *

Computer running v...e...r...y... slowly? Internet Explorer(R) doesn't work correctly or at all? Your computer may be infected with Spyware and/or Adware or possibly even a Virus or Trojan Horse. JCB Computer Services can remove all of that pesky malware and make your internet experience enjoyable again.

NOTE: Virus & Spyware removal does not include installation of additional anti-virus and spyware protection tools (recommended). For complete removal and future protection, please consider our Security/Performance Tune-Up package.

On-Site System Protection and Optimization

PC Clean - $45.00 flat rate

Think of it as spring cleaning for your computer. Removes unwanted and unsafe dust from the PC's internal and external surfaces. Improves air-flow through the computer for safer and better performance. We will even check all of the internal cable connections and optimize them for better air-flow and cooling.

PC Check-Up - $120.00 flat rate

Your car needs a check-up every so often to keep running in tip-top shape--so does your PC! This all-points optimization is designed to improve your system's boot time, insure that you have all of the latest operating system updates, update your existing anti-virus, firewall, and anti-spyware packages, remove unncessary background process to improve performance, and even defragment your hard drive. It also includes a FREE PC Clean service!!!

Security and Peformance Tune-Up - $210.00 flat rate *

This is the ultimate in PC optimization and protection. Includes our PC Clean, PC Check-Up, and Virus & Spyware Removal Services (a $300 Value). Plus, we wil install FREE anti-virus, firewall, and anti-spyware softwrae if you do not already have them (non-commercial customers only).

On-Site Installation and Upgrades

Hardware Installation - $60.00 flat rate, per device

Install any single internal or external drive (cd/dvd, hard drive, etc.), Memory module, or Expansion Card. Includes physical installation of device, installation of drivers and any required software included with the device. Additional software installation may require an extra charge.

Software Installation - $30.00 flat rate, per software title

Installation of any single software title. Please note that media and license (if required) must be provided for any software. We will not install unlicensed or pirated software!

Operating System Installation - $150.00 flat rate

Installation or upgrade of one MS Windows(TM) Operating System. Please note that media and license key must be provided. We will not install unlicensed or pirated software!

New PC Setup - $150.00 flat rate

Need help setting up your new PC. We will set up and test your new PC, configure any user accounts needed for you and your family, optimize your system's performance, install system updates, and install up to 3 other software applications.

Premium PC Setup - $200.00 flat rate

Need help setting up your new PC. We will set up and test your new PC, configure any user accounts needed for you and your family, optimize your system's performance, install system updates, and install up to 4 other software applications. We will also configure your ISP for internet access.

On-Site Data Backup / Migration

Data Migration, up to 10GB - $90.00 flat rate ($60.00 Each Additional 10GB)

Have a new computer? Need to get the data from your old computer onto the new one? We can help! We will move up to 10GB of data from the old computer to the new one. Please note that this service does not reinstall your programs and is meant for data migration only. You will need to bring both computers to our shop for this service

One-Time Data Backup, up to 10GB - $90.00 flat rate ($60.00 Each Additional 10GB)

We will back up your personal data to CD/DVD, internal or external hard drive, or SAN/NAS (depending on your system configuration).

NOTE: this will not back up your programs or operating system and is meant to be used along with a restore cd or similar recovery strategy.

Configure Automated Backup , up to 10GB - $120.00 flat rate ($60.00 Each Additional 10GB)

We will back up your personal data to internal or external hard drive, or SAN/NAS (depending on your system configuration) and configure this backup to happen automatically on a specified interval.

NOTE: this will not back up your programs or operating system and is meant to be used along with a restore cd or similar recovery strategy.

Clean and Remove HD Information - $30.00 flat rate

Help protect yourself from identity theft! Before you sell or donate that old hard drive, let us securely wipe the drive and remove any personal information.

Media Center PC Setup - $150.00 flat rate

Just bought a new media center or vista home ultimate PC? We can configure it for the best experience possible, and even connect it to your existing home stereo and/or tv (cables not included).

On-Site Networking Services

Network Setup (up to 2 devices, no in-wall wiring) - $90.00 flat rate (Each additional device - $30.00)

Set up a wired, wireless, or hybrid network to share an internet connection, files, and printers. (e.g. PC + router). Each Additional Device $30.00 (e.g. network printer, additional PC, wireless access point, NAS)

ISP Setup (connect to modem, install ISP software) - $75.00 flat rate

Need help setting up your DSL or Cable internet connection? We will isntall ISP connectivity software on your PC, connect your PC to the internet via your cable or dsl modem, and test the internet connection to make sure that it is working properly.

NOTE: This service does not include router setup. See Network Setup service above.

Wireless Network Security Setup - $60.00 flat rate

Secure your existing wireless network to help prevent unwanted access. Requires applicable hardare. Hardware and software not included.

Online PC Gaming and Network Setup - $90.00 flat rate
